Experienced one-to-one and online counselling based in London
Welcome to my counselling practice.
If you are feeling that life is difficult and there are areas of your life that you would like to understand better then counselling can help you to reflect on and manage your concerns.
I offer a safe, professional environment to explore both brief, focused issues or longer term deeper issues.
I am a qualified and experienced therapist, a member of the British Psychological Society and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
types of counselling
One-to-one counselling
Counselling involves us working together to alleviate concerns, develop awareness and reach a deeper understanding of yourself and your patterns of relating. Counselling is a process of self discovery through an accepting, trusted and supportive relationship. I would help to guide you to develop your own coping skills and resources. This can take a varied amount of time depending on the issues and the person.
I have worked with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, trauma, addiction, lack of confidence, abuse, unsatisfying or destructive relationships and other emotional and mental distress.
I work with the body’s role in the therapeutic process and use a combination of body awareness, grounding and mindfulness techniques to cope with the physical effects that together can manage the psychological impact of trauma.
On-line counselling
I offer one to one counselling sessions via Zoom at various time during the week.
In addition, I am trained in counselling via email. Email counselling can be very flexible. We would agree a day to send and receive emails of around 1,000 words or one hour of writing. Additional writing is welcome for an increased fee.
Online chat is also available to take place at an agreed time.
I use platforms that are encrypted and secure for the confidentiality and protection of client data.
If you have any questions about this, please get in touch and I am happy to answer any questions.
